"This is the second shooting in several days in San Francisco. A man was found fatally shot in the Rincon Hill area, near the Bay Bridge on-ramp, early Monday, in the hours after the Super Bowl. The Chronicle subsequently reported that the victim has been identified as 31-year-old Keonte Antonio Deshawn Woods, a rapper who resided in Solano County and who had a local presence in Richmond, rapping under the name Curnal."
San Francisco's homicide count has risen sharply in 2026 after a historically low 2025. A male victim was found fatally shot Wednesday morning on Turk Street in the Tenderloin and pronounced dead after life-saving measures. Police arrested 37-year-old Sefanaia Alatini of Oakland on suspicion of murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm; the victim has not been publicly identified and circumstances remain unreported.
