Apple Cinemas, an East Coast chain, is set to open its first location on the West Coast in San Francisco. The cinema will occupy the Don Lee building at 1000 Van Ness Avenue, a space that was previously occupied by CGV Cinemas before its closure two years ago. Representatives from Apple Cinemas report that the facility is well-maintained, and the new cinema could be operational within 30 days, coinciding perfectly with the summer movie season.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that East Coast-based Apple Cinemas will open up its first west coast location in the Don Lee building at 1000 Van Ness Avenue.
Representatives for Apple Cinemas say the space is in excellent shape, and it could open in as soon as 30 days.
