""My thoughts are with the family. My thoughts are with the neighbors," said Kathryn Doane."
""My heart went out to the family. In a situation like this, I don't know why people can't get help. There's so many people who can help you," Doane said."
""We are devastated. Thomas Ocheltree and his beautiful daughters are the real victims here. They played no part in this tragedy.""
""I don't have the word now. I'm in shock. It's a tragedy. Thinking of the family, processing right now," said Belinda Hanart."
Four family members, including two young daughters, were found dead inside a Monterey Boulevard home in San Francisco's Westwood Highlands neighborhood. Police are investigating the deaths as suspicious and are treating the case as a possible murder-suicide. Relatives identified the deceased as Thomas "T.R." Ocheltree, his wife Paula Truong, and their two daughters. Neighbors left flowers and expressed shock and grief. Court records show the family fell behind on mortgage payments beginning in March 2022, were more than $200,000 past due by February 2024, and the home was sold at public foreclosure auction in September 2024. The couple previously owned Orbit Coffee, which closed its Oakland locations.
