Saint Frank Coffee, San Francisco's busiest specialty coffee shop, is set to open its third location in the Inner Sunset, taking over a former Starbucks. Owner Kevin Bohlin, who lives nearby, aims to recreate the community vibe of the original shop. The new café will feature an extensive menu similar to its other locations, with food from the couple's bakery, Juniper. The design will include a larger bar and patio area. This expansion follows a strong performance in the United States Barista Championship, emphasizing community-driven, quality coffee experiences.
"I lived two blocks from the original Saint Frank for a decade, it was really special," Bohlin says. "I loved moving out to the Sunset, though. There's a San Francisco energy gravitating in this corridor."
"We are a competition company," Bohlin says. "This isn't an experience just for judges. It's open to everybody."
