The Function is a full-time comedy club and cocktail lounge on Market Street near Hayes Valley and Mid-Market in San Francisco. Shows run Sunday and Monday nights at 7:00pm and 8:45pm, featuring 70+ minute sets with 4–5 comedians who have credits from Cobb's, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, Clusterfest and Outside Lands. Each show is limited to 60 people, with a small number of free RSVP tickets available. The venue offers revisited cocktail classics, draft beer, curated wines by the glass, non-alcoholic options, and the signature "Hot Spot Combo" (beer, pony shot, lottery scratcher) limited to 20 per day. The club is Black-owned and co-owned by Stroy Moyd, Johnny Funcheap and Ludo Racinet.
