The Function is a full-time comedy club and cocktail lounge at 1414 Market Street in Mid Market, near Hayes Valley. The venue hosts shows every Sunday and Monday with two performances each night at 7:00 and 8:45 p.m., featuring 70+ minute lineups of 4–5 comedians with credits including Cobbs, Punchline, SF Sketchfest, Clusterfest and Outside Lands. Capacity is limited to 60 people per show with 25 free RSVP tickets available first-come. The full bar offers revisited cocktail classics, draft beer, curated wines by the glass, non-alcoholic options, and the signature Hot Spot Combo limited to 20 daily.
