Memorial Day Monday 2026 Parking Rules in SF (How Not to Get a Ticket)

On Monday, May 25, 2026, parking meters are enforced, including color-capped meters, along with all white zones. Nightly street sweeping and safety violations such as no stopping, no parking, and red and blue zones will be enforced. Residential parking permits, general parking time limits, weekday daytime street sweeping, commuter shuttle towaway zones, and unmetered yellow and green zones will not be enforced. Vehicles creating hazards or unsafe conditions, including double parking, blocking bike lanes, driveways, crosswalks, or fire hydrants, may receive citations and can be towed. Muni will run on a Saturday service schedule. Parking meters operate Monday through Saturday citywide, with specific areas enforced seven days per week year-round except major holidays.
