Happy Pride Month! - San Francisco Bay Times
Briefly

On June 6, 2025, San Francisco celebrated its LGBTQ+ community by raising the Pride flag, reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity amidst political challenges. Supervisor Rafael Mandelman emphasized the city's legacy of support, particularly honoring Harvey Milk's contributions. This year's Pride events, including the Pride Parade on June 29 and the Pride Night Market, aim to bring people together for celebration and visibility. Mandelman invites everyone, regardless of age or background, to participate and uphold the values of pride and community solidarity in the face of adversity.
On June 6, 2025, we raised the Pride flag alongside LGBTQ+ community members and leaders across San Francisco and California. This year more than ever, it is important to show pride in ourselves and our communities.
San Francisco will always be a place where LGBTQ+ people are seen, celebrated, and safe. We've faced bullies before, and we're not going anywhere.
