FREE San Francisco Black History Month Comedy Festival 2026
"Celebrate Black History Month with live stand-up at San Francisco's first Black-owned comedy club. Featuring the Bay Area's best rising Black comedians, rotating lineups with credits like Cobb's, Punch Line, SF Sketchfest, Cheaper Than Therapy, and often surprise drop-in sets from touring comics. Each show features 4 to 5 pro comedians performing 70 to 90 minutes of stand-up in an intimate clubhouse-style venue on Market Street."

Nightly stand-up shows run February 21 through March 8, 2026 at The Function, San Francisco's first Black-owned comedy club on Market Street near Hayes Valley. Shows occur Sundays through Thursdays at 7:00 and 8:30 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. Each performance presents 4–5 professional comedians delivering 70–90 minutes of material in an intimate clubhouse-style room. Limited free RSVP spots are available, with $20–$25 door admission and a two-item minimum per person. Happy Hour weekdays 5–7 p.m. offers discounted cocktails, draft beer, and wine.
