Free Rides on SF's Open-Air Boat Tram
"Muni's most charming rides are back for summer, and this year they're free all the way from Castro to Fisherman's Wharf. As part of the Summer Vintage Streetcar Service, you can ride one of Muni's historic streetcars every Friday and Saturday through October 11, 2025. Each weekend, the vintage cars rotate among the fleet, so you might ride the breezy open-air Boat Tram from Blackpool, Melbourne Tram, Milan Tram, Zurich/Brussels Tram, or even Car No. 1, Muni's first streetcar from 1912."
