Floral design career began with San Jose man's coffee shop encounter
Briefly

Ruben Guerrero started delivering flowers for Studio Petall as a side job while working at Starbucks. In 2017, he asked the shop's owner if he could try making arrangements, revealing an unexpected talent for floral design. Guerrero embraces the fulfillment of creating arrangements that reflect clients' visions, especially for weddings and celebrations. The florist shop has a unique design challenge; it lacks a back room to store raw materials and unfinished projects. Guerrero's love for dahlias highlights his creativity and inspiration drawn from people's outfits.
Creativity has always been a part of me and expressed in different ways, but floral design has been the most fulfilling for me.
I can probably try making arrangements, and the moment I did, it was a surprise to me that I had this newfound skill.
One of the best parts of my job is when clients share their ideas. I enjoy building their vision from concept to reality.
