Block Fest is a monthly community celebration held on the first and third Fridays from 3 pm to 5 pm at CounterPulse, located at 80 Turk Street in San Francisco's Tenderloin. The event features free arts activities and cultural offerings including live performance, art exhibitions, screen printing workshops, and crochet jams. Artist Activators provide free art-making opportunities for local residents, workers, and visitors. The festival celebrates the creative spirit of the Tenderloin through diverse artistic programming. Block Fest began in September and takes a break in December. RSVP is required to attend.
