"If you're looking for a relaxing fall activity, the Bayview/Linda Brooks-Burton Branch library is hosting a Silent Reading Café on Dec. 7th from 2 to 3 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a book of their choice to silently read while enjoying baked goods, coffee and tea. The library is also hosting "Movies for Children" every second Wednesday of the month at 3:00 p.m. The next movie, Lilo and Stich, will be shown on December 10th."

All Good Pizza on Jerrold Ave. has applied for a new alcohol license and serves Neapolitan-style pizzas, salads and paninis, open Tuesday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Star Market and Liquor posted a public notice of an ownership-change application and declined to comment. The Bayview/Linda Brooks-Burton Branch library will host a Silent Reading Café Dec. 7 and monthly children's movies, with Lilo and Stich on Dec. 10. Papa Rudy's food truck operates Thurs–Sun on 3rd St.; hours vary by day.
