On March 9, 2025, members of the San Francisco Bay Times, led by Juan R. Davila and Miguel Vasquez, made a spontaneous decision to hike the Palomarin Trailhead in Bolinas. They completed a scenic 13-mile roundtrip to Alamere Falls, appreciating the rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. The hike featured sightings of black-tailed deer, known for their swimming skills and exceptional vision. The Point Reyes National Seashore is a year-round destination, perfect for enjoying nature, with specific months offering unique wildlife experiences like whale watching and deer exhibitions.
The group completed the 13-mile roundtrip hike to Alamere Falls, enjoying picturesque views of the trees and meadows with abundant wildlife including the native black-tailed deer.
The Point Reyes National Seashore is open year-round, save for the seasonal closure of certain areas to protect elephant seals, offering diverse seasonal activities for outdoor enthusiasts.
