Check in, sign the waiver, grab some free rental skates, and have fun in this rare opportunity to skate on the stonework of the Upper Terrace. Please note that we cannot accommodate this event safely if it rains, so cross your fingers for great weather!"
Yerba Buena Gardens will offer a free, family-friendly holiday celebration featuring the only living coniferous holiday tree in the Bay Area, a giant coastal redwood lit on the Great Lawn. The evening includes a lighting ceremony, free carousel rides, hot cocoa, pizza vouchers, storytime under the redwoods, a short speaking program, and free outdoor roller skating on the Upper Terrace provided by Church of 8 Wheels. Check-in and waivers are required for skating and rentals. Lighting times are scheduled around 4:30pm and 6pm. RSVPs on Eventbrite help estimate headcount. Events may be canceled or changed; confirm with the organizer.
