Radio Host Selling Malibu Home--She Needs Land, Not Sand
"I love the house. I don't want to sell, but it's hard enough to keep up one house, let alone two. I want to consolidate and get more land, because I have two big dogs."
"Miller bought the Malibu house a year ago as an office for her Love Puppet Inc. production company. Built in 1924, the home, with 52 feet of beach frontage, includes a two-bedroom main house and an attached, studio guest apartment."
"Sandy Gallin, the Hollywood manager-producer who recently became chief executive of Las Vegas-based Mirage Entertainment & Sports, has purchased the Malibu home of the late comedian-actor Flip Wilson for about $3 million. Built in 1967, the Carbon Beach house has 60 feet of beach frontage."
Stephanie Miller, a nationally syndicated radio talk show host and stand-up comedian, listed her Cape Cod-style Malibu beach home for $1.15 million. Built in 1924 with 52 feet of beach frontage, the property includes a two-bedroom main house and attached studio guest apartment. Miller originally purchased the home a year prior as an office for her production company but decided to consolidate her properties, as she also owns a Hollywood Hills residence. Meanwhile, entertainment executive Sandy Gallin acquired the late comedian Flip Wilson's Malibu home for approximately $3 million. Wilson's four-bedroom, 4,300-square-foot residence, built in 1967 on Carbon Beach with 60 feet of frontage, features a gym and required remodeling.
