"Known as Cedar Cliff, the 1930s Mediterranean-style house sits on the site of a compound owned by railroad magnate Henry Francis Shoemaker in the early 20th century. It spans over 15,000 square feet, with eight bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, and 10 fireplaces. There's also a pool and spa, a poolhouse with its own gym and kitchenette, a private beach with a dock, numerous stone terraces, and a tennis court."
"During her ownership, she and Frank added a new wing to the residence, which sits on a 2.9-acre plot on the tip of a peninsula on the Long Island Sound and has views of the New York City skyline. The three-story addition featured a new primary suite, a movie theater that seats 20, an office, and a wine cellar. Frank died in 2015, and Kathie Lee relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2019."
"The move "was the new beginning that I needed," she told the WSJ. "But I never stopped loving Cedar Cliff." The listing is held by Leslie McElwreath of Sotheby's International Realty - Greenwich Brokerage."
"Having already begun a new chapter in Nashville, Kathie Lee Gifford is ready to let go of her longtime Connecticut compound-for the low, low price of $100 million. The former Today and Live with Regis and Kathie Lee host purchased the waterfront property in Greenwich's Riverside neighborhood with her late husband, football star Frank Gifford, in 1994 for $7.8 million, according to The Wall Street Journal."
