This initiative aims to promote transparency in the real estate market by ensuring that sellers understand the implications of reduced visibility, competition, and potential profits that come with limiting their listing exposure. eXp's CEO, Leo Pareja, emphasizes that while seller choice is important, it must be accompanied by truthful information to prevent disservice.
"Seller choice is foundational, but choice without truth is a disservice," eXp CEO Leo Pareja said in a press release. "We believe the industry must lead with transparency, not tactics."
The form outlines possible risks of off-MLS listings, including reduced visibility, reduced competition and lower profits.
