Scott Wiener is running for Congress to fill Nancy Pelosi's seat, which would vacate his state Senate seat if he wins. SF Supervisor Rafael Mandelman and Assemblyman Matt Haney are also considering bids, and Nancy Pelosi's endorsement remains uncommitted.
