Walk a new spiritual path at Winchester Mystery House
Briefly

The Winchester Mystery House will host a new Halloween event, Festival Fright Nights, featuring a 1920s masquerade and multiple haunted attractions from Sept. 26 to Nov. 1. Organized by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, this immersive experience will utilize new paths and areas of the estate, expanding on the historical lore of Sarah Winchester. Additionally, the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose is unveiling a new exhibit, Bubbling Up!, focused on bubbles and their scientific properties, encouraging visitors to engage with interactive displays and learn about various scientific concepts.
"The lore of this property has given us so much to work with," Brett Bertolino, Thirteenth Floor's director of special projects, said in a release.
Fright Nights will feature three main haunted attractions, theatrical experiences and themed food and beverage offerings, with new paths and access to never-before-used spaces.
The exhibit offers a hands-on exploration of science and math concepts like elasticity, surface tension, chemistry, light and geometry.
Bubbling Up!, created in collaboration with the Denver Children's Museum, opens on Saturday, June 28, inviting visitors to experiment with bubbles of all sizes.
