At Rancho San Antonio in Chatsworth, a civil claim alleges that at least two teenage boys were sexually abused by female staff members earlier this year. One employee allegedly abused a 15-year-old boy over a five-month period at the facility and again at the boy’s home while his mother was away. The claim also alleges that another boy was abused at the facility recently. The claim states the conduct was part of a broader pattern of inappropriate and abusive relationships between staff and minors, and it alleges a staff member became pregnant by a minor juvenile while in the facility’s care. The victims are under 16 and the staff members are in their late 20s or early 30s. The Los Angeles Police Department launched a criminal investigation after being notified on May 4.
