Saratoga city commissioners to lead scenic hike through park, preserve

The Saratoga Parks and Recreation Commission is organizing a scenic 5.4-mile group hike at Stevens Creek County Park on June 14, starting at 7:50 a.m. This moderately challenging hike will last about three hours, crossing through diverse trails. Participants must register online beforehand. Additionally, three seniors from Saratoga High School showcased their innovative drone project at the Global Sustainable Student Action Summit in Taiwan, demonstrating a new CO2 monitoring system called Dronezero, designed to provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional satellite monitoring.
The 5.4-mile trail will take hikers through Tony Look to Coyote Ridge to Lookout Loop, offering a moderately challenging experience lasting about three hours.
