A tragic car accident in West Marin claimed the lives of four teenage girls from Archie Williams High School, aged 14 to 16, injuring two others. In response to the tragedy, more than 300 community members gathered at a vigil in Fairfax to mourn collectively. Rev. Scott Clark spoke to the crowd about the shared grief and the necessity of honoring the deceased. Although the names of the victims were withheld to respect their families' privacy, plans were made to memorialize them in the future.
Many of us have come tonight because we are hurting. This is a heartbreaking day and it is hard.
The girls would be honored in the coming weeks.
