How Alexis DeBoer has made a name for herself at Washington softball
Briefly

Alexis DeBoer, daughter of prominent football coach Kalen DeBoer, showcased her softball talent from a young age. She first drew attention at age six when she hit a home run during a youth game. Now, as a freshman at Washington, she has made history by hitting 20 home runs, earning the title of Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Her growth as a player has been supported by her teammates and coaching staff, highlighting the importance of teamwork in her athletic journey.
Asked about her banner season, Alexis said, 'Honestly, it's about my teammates and coaches and all their support in helping me transition to college and knowing they're going to have my back no matter how I do on the field.'
Alexis is still belting home runs, but on a much larger field and stage. In her first season at Washington, she became the second freshman in program history to hit 20 home runs on her way to earning Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors.
