The venue at 333 11th St. in San Francisco will become The Budda, named for and backed by East Bay rapper Budda Mack. Budda Mack announced the opening on Instagram, promising January will be different and calling the club a movement bringing energy, culture, and unforgettable nights. Mack has over 160,000 YouTube followers and more than 5,000 monthly Spotify listeners, with songs like Twerk and Get Ya Mind Right earning millions of views. The Budda replaces YOLO Nightclub, which operated from 2021 until spring 2025, and follows the longtime run of Slim's, which opened in 1988 and closed in March 2020.
