Sonos is finally updating its Ace headphones with a long-delayed feature

Sonos has unveiled a significant software update for its Ace headphones, introducing the much-anticipated TrueCinema mode which enhances spatial audio by adapting to the acoustics of your environment. This mode is similar to the company's TruePlay feature for speakers. Moreover, the update expands the TV Audio Swap functionality to permit two Ace headphones to connect simultaneously for personalized listening. Alongside improved active noise cancellation that adjusts to the headphone fit, the Ace will also support high-resolution audio for calls and include a SideTone feature that enhances voice clarity during conversations.
TrueCinema mode, which adapts the headphone's spatial audio to your space and makes the virtual surround sound effect more convincing, is finally available.
The Ace headphones will benefit from enhanced active noise cancellation that adapts to how the headphones fit on your head, compensating for sound leakage caused by hair, glasses, or hats.
Sonos has expanded the TV Audio Swap feature to now work with two sets of Ace headphones simultaneously, allowing two people to watch TV together without disturbing others.
The new update brings a high resolution audio feature during phone calls and a new SideTone function, ensuring calls sound more natural.
