Mozart to Mendelssohn (M2M) is the San Francisco Civic Music Association's second full orchestra, formed in 2014 to allow more musicians to perform large orchestral works. The ensemble performs repertoire from the 18th through the 20th centuries with varying complexity. John Kendall Bailey serves as Music Director and Conductor. The 2025–2026 season consists of periodic Sunday concerts at Herbst Theatre, 3pm–5pm, through June 21, 2026. Programs include Beethoven & Reicha, Eroica & Finlandia, Shostakovich, and Chopin with Górecki's Symphony No. 3. Concerts are free with RSVP and suggested donations of $10–$20.
