SF's Free Immersive Pop-Up Music Museum for Super Bowl Weekend (Feb. 5-7)
"If you're looking for a free Super Bowl weekend activity in San Francisco, Bay Area record label EMPIRE is opening a pop-up museum in the Financial District to celebrate its 15-year anniversary. The exhibit, called EMPIRE 15: Full Circle Museum, is a fully immersive museum experience featuring curated displays, storytelling, and memorabilia from across EMPIRE's history. It's located inside 1 Montgomery Street, the historic former bank building that EMPIRE is turning into its new headquarters."
"EMPIRE was founded in 2010 by Ghazi Shami, a Potrero Hill native who built the company while keeping its roots firmly in San Francisco. Over the past 15 years, the independent label has grown into one of the biggest in the U.S., working with major artists across multiple genres, including Kendrick Lamar, Bebe Rexha, Larry June, and more recently, Shaboozey."
EMPIRE Records will host EMPIRE 15: Full Circle Museum, a free, fully immersive pop-up museum in downtown San Francisco from February 5–7, 2026. The walk-through exhibit features curated displays, storytelling, memorabilia, awards, platinum plaques, and a replica NPR Tiny Desk setup. The museum highlights Bay Area artists and the label's evolution from a 2010 startup founded by Ghazi Shami into a major independent music company working with artists across genres. The exhibit is located at 1 Montgomery Street, opens daily 11 a.m.–4:30 p.m., is free with RSVP, and is open to all ages.
