Downtown First Thursdays returns for a full year of monthly street parties beginning Jan 1, 2026 with a New Year’s Day edition. Events take place on 2nd Street and surrounding blocks and run rain or shine. Offerings include DJs, live performances, dancing, drag, food trucks, shopping, fashion, arts and crafts pop-ups, karaoke, and the Discoteca under the Biggest Disco Ball West of the Mississippi. Monthly special guests are curated by Another Planet Entertainment, Carnaval SF, Black Joy Parade, and rotating local curators. Howard Stage hosts a 5–7 PM happy hour with themed, genre-fluid dance parties and outdoor drink specials. RSVP provides discounts on specialty cocktails and ADA seating is available by request.
