Downtown First Thursdays returns in 2026 with monthly street parties beginning January 1, 2026 with a New Year's Day edition. Events are free, all-ages, and proceed rain or shine along 2nd Street and surrounding blocks. Offerings include DJs, live performances, dancing, drag shows, food trucks, shopping, fashion, karaoke, arts and crafts pop-ups, and neighborhood bars and restaurants. Monthly performances are curated by Another Planet Entertainment, Carnaval SF, Black Joy Parade, Grace Towers, and rotating local curators. The Discoteca features the Biggest Disco Ball West of the Mississippi. Howard Stage hosts a 5-7PM happy hour with genre-fluid themes, outdoor bar drink specials, and RSVP discounts. ADA seating is available by request.
