Green Day will perform an opening ceremony set moments before Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Feb. 8. The multiplatinum trio's set will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Super Bowl and serve as the soundtrack to usher generations of Super Bowl MVPs onto the field. The opening ceremony will air live at 3 p.m. on NBC and Telemundo, with the game kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The band is also scheduled to play an invitation-only Super Bowl week concert with fellow Bay Area acts to further mark the occasion.
