Filoli's Summer Stage Concert Series wraps up with blues, jazz

Filoli Historic House & Garden will close its Summer Stage Concert Series with performances by Reverend Shawn Amos and Halsey and the Hi-Hats. Concerts will occur on Aug. 25 and 26 from 7-8:30 p.m. with early check-in at 5:30 p.m. Bay Area Older Adults are hosting events in September, including a guided birdwatching walk on Sept. 10, a river cleanup on Sept. 18, and an educational walk at the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge on Sept. 24. All events include necessary supplies and lunch.
Reverend Shawn Amos performs blues and soul on Monday, Aug. 25, followed by Halsey and the Hi-Hats jazzing things up on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
Birders can take an expert-led flat walk at Shoreline Lake Park on Sept. 10 to see shorebirds, and a Guadalupe River Cleanup Day is on Sept. 18.
A leisurely three-mile expert-led flat walk at the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge is scheduled for Sept. 24, highlighting its history and endangered species.
Bay Area Older Adults hosts events focusing on outdoor activities, shoreline cleanup, and ecological education through guided walks and volunteer opportunities.
