Eyevee Woods III, an artist deeply involved in San Francisco's subculture, died at the age of 24 due to a train-hopping accident. Known for her vivacity and honesty, Woods had a transformative journey from Louisiana to San Francisco, significantly shaped by her love of art and community. A celebration of her life occurred at Minicine in Shreveport, the place of her early performances. In May, Woods embarked on a trip to visit family in Shreveport and had plans to reconnect with friends in New York but tragically passed away during travels with a partner.
"I will most remember Woods 'vivacity, love of life, apparent obvious joy and glee and energy and sharing' as well as her 'jaw-dropping, full-frontal honesty.'"},{
