Eyevee Woods, free-spirit calling the Mission home, dies at 24
""I will most remember Woods 'vivacity, love of life, apparent obvious joy and glee and energy and sharing' as well as her 'jaw-dropping, full-frontal honesty.'"},{"
Eyevee Woods III, an artist deeply involved in San Francisco's subculture, died at the age of 24 due to a train-hopping accident. Known for her vivacity and honesty, Woods had a transformative journey from Louisiana to San Francisco, significantly shaped by her love of art and community. A celebration of her life occurred at Minicine in Shreveport, the place of her early performances. In May, Woods embarked on a trip to visit family in Shreveport and had plans to reconnect with friends in New York but tragically passed away during travels with a partner.
