Local classical options include a kids concert, Opera San Jose's production of Salome, and a Mariachi Valentine by the Diablo Symphony Orchestra featuring the UC Davis Mariachi Ensemble. The Mariachi program features works by Gabriela Lena Frank, Alberto Ginastera and Gabriela Ortiz, conducted by Matilda Hofman at Lesher Center for the Arts on Feb. 15.
