An august week of events is lined up for the Bay Area

A range of events in the East Bay are planned throughout August, including the Alameda 10 Miler at Crown Memorial Beach Park on the 8th and performances by Tedeschi Trucks Band and Whiskey Myers on the 10th at the Greek Theatre. A book club featuring the collaboration of six authors will take place on the 10th at Books Inc. Additionally, the band Alabama Shakes will perform at Berkeley's Greek Theatre on August 14, marking their return after an eight-year hiatus.
The Alameda 10 Miler will take place at Crown Memorial Beach Park, featuring an engaging course along the shoreline, starting at 7 a.m. on August 8.
Tedeschi Trucks Band & Whiskey Myers will perform at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley at 6 p.m. on August 10, showcasing American blues rock.
The Queerly Beloved Book Club invites attendees to engage with a collaboration of six authors exploring young Black love on August 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Alabama Shakes will return to the stage after eight years with a concert at the Greek Theatre, Berkeley at 7 p.m. on August 14.
