SOMA Nights is a monthly event that promotes art, food, and culture in the Folsom Street corridor, supporting local businesses threatened by the ongoing Streetscape Project. With over 20 participating businesses, this initiative aims to build community ties and encourage collaboration among businesses that have been part of the SOMA landscape for decades. The events include street closures for safety, live performances, pop-up vendors, and special food and drink promotions, making it an inclusive celebration of local culture for all ages.
Our monthly events encourage collaboration and creativity bringing together local businesses who have operated in SOMA for the past 3 decades who need local support to survive.
SOMA Nights aims to foster a sense of community by connecting residents and local businesses during the Folsom Streetscape Project which is putting multiple legacy businesses at risk.
The Folsom Street corridor is now one of five new entertainment zones established across the city to boost small business activity through reimagining public spaces.
This is an inclusive event for all ages and backgrounds, creating a vibrant atmosphere where people can enjoy art, food and culture.
