Saluhall opened about a year and a half ago adjacent to an Ikea with the goal of revitalizing downtown San Francisco. The food hall struggled to attract foot traffic, prompting numerous vendor departures, including several short-lived concepts. Ingka Centres and Kerb Food have agreed to end their operating partnership, with Ingka Centres assuming day-to-day management. New vendors have arrived, shifting some offerings away from the original plant-based focus. Ingka Centres is in the process of bringing in three new vendors while the future operational approach and its effects on vendor stability remain uncertain.
