"The Sunset Mercantile Artship is an all-ages community art exploration, learning, activity and exhibit space. A former shipping container-turned-art-space, the Artship got its start at Playland at 43rd Avenue, and found its permanent home with Sunset Mercantile in September of 2022. Outer Sunset Farmers Market & Mercantile operates every Sunday from 9am to 2pm year-round along 37th Avenue between Ortega and Quintara. The market typically hosts 25+ vendors including farmers, ranchers, food trucks, artisans, makers, merchants, artists, and local organizations. Weekly programming features live music, seasonal tastings, kids storytelling, and community activities. The Sunset Mercantile Artship provides free, all-ages art exploration, workshops, and a book donation point. Annual market celebrations include Lunar New Year and Diwali.
