Farmers, like Bartosz Pinkosz from Summer Berry Company, have noted that these strawberries can hit the size of plums or even kiwi fruits. The ideal conditions of warm days and cool nights have led to notably larger berries, with estimates suggesting they are 10-20% heavier than normal. This year's environment marks a stark contrast to the darker conditions witnessed earlier in the year, setting the stage for a plentiful strawberry season ahead of Wimbledon.
