Transgender woman terrorized after South Carolina Republican Nancy Mace mocks her online
Briefly

Republican U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace has intensified her anti-trans rhetoric, recently targeting a transgender woman named Sabre. Following Mace's mocking comments about Sabre's transition photos, Sabre has faced a surge of harassment, death threats, and doxxing attempts. Mace's posts not only increased the visibility of transphobia but also endangered Sabre's safety, leading her to fear for her life. Sabre explained that her life has become significantly more dangerous since Mace's tweets, underscoring the far-reaching consequences of such attacks and the vulnerabilities faced by transgender individuals in a hostile political climate.
Since Nancy Mace's tweets towards me, I have experienced a massive increase in death threats and other generalized threats of violence to the surprise of nobody.
I cannot share where I work or live for my own personal safety, as I currently have people who wish to kill me for the sole reason of being trans.
