SOMA Pilipinas Pride: MAKIBEKI takes place Sunday, October 12, 12–5 PM at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and centers queer and trans Filipinx joy and activism. The program includes a unity rally at Jessie Square, a procession into Yerba Buena, a mini pageant and performances by Drag Race Philippines artists and DJs, and a resource fair offering health and community services. Complimentary admission to the MAKIBAKA: A Living Legacy exhibit is provided. Advance RSVP is recommended to reserve meal tickets. Organizers advise attendees to join as contingents or volunteers and to prepare for weather and hydration.
