Briefly

On Memorial Day, Livermore paid tribute to Lt. Thomas Kelly, a WWII pilot missing since 1944 after his plane was shot down. A memorial mass preceded a touching funeral procession, where flags were raised in respect. Kelly's remains were recovered and identified thanks to Project Recover, offering closure to his family after 81 years of uncertainty. The emotional ceremony featured heartfelt tributes to him, including sentiments of love and remembrance from his cousin's son, affirming Kelly's rightful place back in his hometown after so long.
Being a pilot in a war is a dangerous business. We have to honor the guys who didn't make it back, said Jim Huebner, a Vietnam Veteran pilot.
I love you Toby and it feels great to see you again, and have you here to welcome you home. This is where you belong, said Althaus.
