Democratic U.S. Senator Adam Schiff will make history by participating in the AIDS/LifeCycle 2025 ride, serving as the first senator to do so. The ride raises funds for vital services provided by organizations such as the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Schiff initially participated in the event in 2014 and aims to contribute significantly, despite only being able to ride a portion this year due to congressional obligations. Organizers have announced that 2025 will be the final year of the ride, aiming to raise a record $17.8 million amid declining participation.
I'll be working throughout the year to support the life-saving services offered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
In 2014, I did the whole 545-mile ride, but with votes during the week of the ride, this year I will only be able to participate in the first 80-mile leg.
