Clayton Pride announces the return of the Pride Parade on June 1 along Main Street, featuring the theme "Now More Than Ever, Love Matters." For the first time, the event will include a Festival in The Grove Park, emphasizing LGBTQQIA+ pride and allyship. Supervisor Ken Carlson will be the Grand Marshal, delivering key remarks on acceptance. Supported by local residents and businesses, the event promises colorful floats, drag performances, and local artisans. Clayton Pride aims to foster a cultural environment where all can thrive as equal members of society, promoting love and community spirit.
This year's theme, 'Now More Than Ever, Love Matters,' underscores the event's celebration of inclusion, community, and resilience, affirming the spirit of the LGBTQIA+ movement.
Generously supported by a coalition of Clayton residents, the Clayton Business and Community Association, and local businesses, the parade will feature colorful floats, captivating drag performances, and live music.
At its heart, Clayton Pride is dedicated to creating a city where everyone thrives as healthy, equal members of society, through advocacy, community building, and education.
Join us in celebrating love, inclusion, and community spirit at the 4th Annual Clayton Pride Parade & Festival, set to take place on June 1.
