Briefs Factory, a queer performance troupe from Australia, has evolved since its inception in 2008, now performing internationally. Their latest show in London, born from the Covid-19 lockdown, showcases performances that reflect their artists' emotional experiences during this difficult time. Co-founders Fez and Mark gathered their troupe in Brisbane to express trauma through art. Each act serves as a creative outlet addressing their burdens, culminating in an energetic mix of performance styles that convey joy and catharsis despite the pandemic's challenges.
"While we don't have a formal therapy outlet, let us use our art as our way of speaking or processing this," Fez recalls saying at the time.
