The Russian Ministry of Defence has showcased the missile capabilities of its latest submarine, Krasnoyarsk, during a recent exercise in the Pacific. The submarine, part of the Pacific Fleet, conducted missile launches after moving covertly to a designated area. It successfully fired a Kalibr cruise missile over 1,100 kilometers at a target located at Kura training ground. In addition to this, it engaged a mock enemy submarine using anti-submarine missiles. The Krasnoyarsk is a Yasen-M class submarine that entered service in December 2023, now stationed in Kamchatka, enhancing Russia's naval power.
