Putin is not going to Istanbul, so who will represent Russia?
Briefly

Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend talks in Istanbul with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Instead, Putin has appointed a delegation led by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky. Other notable members include Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin. Zelenskyy declared his readiness to meet but expressed uncertainty about Russia's true intentions, stating he would decide Ukraine's approach based on the final delegation list. There were mentions of potential US involvement, which Zelenskyy suggested could strengthen the negotiations.
I am waiting to see who will come from Russia, and then I will determine what steps Ukraine should take. So far, their signals in the media are unconvincing.
A week can really change a lot - but it may not. Right now, all of this is being decided.
