
Ukrainian drone attacks struck several Russian regions, including the Moscow area, in what officials described as the biggest assault in more than a year. Russian authorities reported three deaths in the Moscow region and one death in Belgorod. A drone hit a house in Khimki, killing a woman, while rescue workers searched for another possible victim. Two men were killed in Pogorelki in the Mytishchi district, and apartment buildings and infrastructure sites were damaged. Moscow air defenses reportedly shot down 81 drones overnight, with 12 injuries, mostly near an oil refinery, and three homes damaged. The Ministry of Defence reported intercepting 556 drones nationwide, while Sheremetyevo reported drone debris on its grounds without damage. Ukrainian officials reported continued Russian attacks in Kharkiv and Kherson regions, including injuries and a death.
