Voting prohibits bots and other artificial methods; votes by email or after 5 p.m. Wednesday do not count. Readers may vote until the Wednesday 5 p.m. deadline. Winners are announced each Friday in print. Nominations are accepted at highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com until 11 a.m. Monday. Nominees include Emily Bellinger, Division I North Coast Section cross country champion in 18:20.9; Makenna Crosson, with 25 kills, a .320 hitting average, 12 digs and three set assists; and Victoria Cui, CIF individual golf champion at Poppy Hills with a 4-under-par score.
