"In recent years, the New York Road Runners (NYRR) RBC Brooklyn Half has become recognized as one of the largest half marathons in the country, touting nearly 28,500 participants in 2025. Now in its 44th year, runners will once again embark on a 13.1-mile journey through Brooklyn on Saturday, May 16, starting at Prospect Park (the same spot that the NYC Half, also organized by NYRR, kicks off) and finishing on the famous Coney Island boardwalk."

Nearly 28,500 runners participated in the New York Road Runners RBC Brooklyn Half in 2025. The 44th running will take place Saturday, May 16, covering 13.1 miles from Prospect Park to the Coney Island boardwalk. Runner's World+ is offering members a chance to receive one of four free guaranteed race entries and the possibility of being featured in Runner's World. Interested members must fill out a survey by February 6 and will be notified toward the end of February if selected. Members must be signed in to access the survey, and non-members can sign up to be considered.
